Letter from our founder
I created Light Bodies out of necessity, my own, and the collective’s. During a time when the world slowed down, I found myself returning to the sacred. Mornings became my temple. In my kitchen, mixing powdered botanicals into coffee like a quiet prayer, I longed for something deeper than the noise of wellness trends. I did not want more pills or synthetic fixes. I wanted nourishment that felt alive, sacred, and capable of elevating me from the inside out.
Light Bodies was born from those rituals and inspired by the Ama, the legendary sea women of Japan. For thousands of years, the Ama free-dived into cold ocean waters, harvesting the treasures of the sea with strength, grace, and deep reverence for nature. To me, they embody an ancient feminine wisdom, resilient, intuitive, and luminous.
Light Bodies is a modern-day reflection of that cultural legacy. It brings the spirit of the sea woman into a contemporary daily ritual, drawing from ocean-sourced and natural ingredients to support beauty, vitality, and renewal from within.
This brand is also the distillation of two decades of work in holistic nutrition, raw food alchemy, healing, sobriety, and sacred motherhood. I created it to simplify everything I have learned about cellular vitality, beauty, and longevity into one intentional moment.
